Deutsche Schule is part of what I remember of my early life. We were a class of 8 children, a place that made me happy and where I loved to be. This led me to create memories that I still carry in my heart today. Some of them are: doing the Schultüte and being very proud of the result, singing the song ‘Kartoffel-Boogie’ at the end of Sachkunde lessons with Graci, doing rounds of multiplication tables with Cris to learn in a lighter way and walking around with the lanterns singing ‘Laterne, Laterne, Sonne, Mond und Sterne…’.
Today, I know that a large part of the principles I carry with me were established at Deutsche Schule Curitiba. The school opened many doors for me: I completed my high school education at a boarding school near Munich. I am writing this text from Germany, working for a company in Berlin. I’m extremely grateful to my parents for choosing this school and I know that in the future my children will also thank me when they have the same opportunity as I did, to study in such a warm, special and admirable place. I’m very proud to say that I studied in the school’s first class and to have seen it grow so much since then.
