I was enrolled at Deutsche Schule in the first grade, in 2014, when I was six years old. It was a remarkable year, as it represented the start of a journey that I remember very dearly. I’ve studied there for nine years, until 2022. Deutsche Schule Curitiba taught me many lessons, including learnings and social interactions. Throughout this period I felt at home at Deutsche Schule Curitiba, I was warmly welcomed by my teachers and friends. I learnt to broaden my horizons and never limit myself, never restrict my knowledge. I still have fond memories, such as the games during the break, the friendships, the poetry, the fun we had with the teachers, their efforts to teach with the highest possible quality, among others. In short, the school changed me. All in all, I have to thank Deutsche Schule Curitiba for helping me build who I am today! (Filipe Weingaertner Palm)

I started at Deutsche Schule Curitiba while still in Kindergarten, in 2014. It was in my class group that my story began. I have sweet memories of kindergarten, because I felt free to play, run around barefoot, learn, make friends and have fun. Everyone at Deutsche Schule Curitiba is very warm hearted. I say this because during the pandemic I had cancer and my classmates and teachers took me in and gave me the strength to carry on. I overcame this illness and today I’m in the ninth year of elementary school. I know that when I leave this beloved place I’ll miss everyone, but I’m sure I’ll never forget any of them.
